Two Months

Liam is just over two months now.

He is really really smiley and loves to be held. He's stopped pooping 10 times a day and is almost over his goobery eye. (Big milestones, I know).

He's sleeping pretty well, waking once a night to eat and we're going to start sleep training with him now that he's two months.

He loves being mauled by his loving sister.

He must be warm at all times and loves the bath.

As far as being swaddled in the miracle blanket, he hates it....but he loves it.

Here's what the doctor had to say:

Weight: 11 lb 12 oz
Height: 23 in
Head: 16 in
Pretty much 50th percentile on all accounts.

This is how I found him the other day. Oh, Etta.

She loves to play on the jungle mat with him and by play I mean sit on him!

You might be wondering what this is a picture of...it's his mad skills. Rob was trying to throw this fruit snack like 20 ft across the room into my mouth aaaaannnddd...

Liam caught it!
You think I'm making it up? That's why we took this picture...Red Sox 2030 here we come.

We love you Liam.

The Weber Ranch and Turning One!

The ranch has been in my family since my great Grandpa Sharp and is loved and cherished by all. We've gone up at least once a year since I can remember, it truly is one of my favorite places on earth. It is so breath taking and still feels so untouched.

This year we went up with my family over Elizabeth's first birthday! I wanted to wait to post for her birthday because other people got much better pictures than me but I'll post this now and re-post later.
Elizabeth was loving her cake although we were surprised how dainty she was with it. She took the tip of one finger and elegantly licked off the icing. I had to try and force her to get a big handful!
Of coarse she needed a bath after!
My camera started to get foggy in the little bathroom!

Etta's Monkey face above that she does when excited.

Cheeser face! Showing off a new outfit!

Stats for first birthday!

Weight: 19 lbs 8 oz - 30th percentile

Height: 30 in - 50th percentile

Head: 18 in - 50th percentile

She has started to walk but is still pretty hesitant. - Wipes your face with a napkin after feeding you. - Says a plethora of words some favorites being car and ball. - Still puts everything in her mouth. - Is fascinated with all things in the bathroom, ie running the bath water, playing in the toilet water, and ripping toilet paper into tiny pieces. - Opens all cupboards and doors. - Makes dog and duck noises. - Loves to be "gotten." - Gives super cheeser grins with her adorable buck teeth. - Is overly friendly and outgoing as always. - Favorite songs: Itsy Bitsy Spider, Old Macdonald, Row Row Row Your Boat, and Head Shoulders Knees and Toes!

We love our little monkey!

We had such a blast and we're so thankful all the family could make it up to celebrate. More to come!

Baby is 9 months and everywhere!
She's definitely gone up the stairs before but this time she started and never stopped. She was up both flights of stairs in a flash of light! She turned around just before finishing, crawling into her room and giving herself a good celebration clap!

9 month stats are:
Head: 17.75 inches (81.17th percentile)
Weight: 17.68 lbs (29.88th percentile)
Height: 27.75 inches (58.66th percentile)
She really is totally crazy. She's into absolutely everything and is on the brink of walking. She's such a blast to play with. She's so giggly and active. We couldn't love our little girl more!

Little Bunny Foo Foo

So baby had her 6 month appointment on December 19, 2008 and these are the results.

Weight-16lbs 3oz

Height-26in

She LOVED the butcher paper on the doctors table as well as the mirror. She was in heaven making loud crunchy noises and looking at the cute smiling baby in front of her. She was being so funny and I didn't catch it on camera. I'm always a little to slow on draw but here's a little something that I did catch.

Now that I can upload videos lots will be coming. I know I said that before but it's true this time! We've been having a blast watching her sit up, start talking, do breakdancing stalls while she rocks up on her knees (she'll be crawling any second now), and eating all her solids. We made her a bunch of healthy baby foods that she loves, namely sweet potatoes and apples. What I love most has to be the many faces she makes when she loves and/or hates different foods. I also love that she's an incredibly clean eater...I don't know that I could handle the squishy food everywhere so it's much appreciated. :) Anyway, we're having a blast watching her learn and grow! Come visit and see for yourself!

Will you let me carry you? One day you'll walk alone...I cannot bear to miss one day from now until you've grown.

So we went to the doc on Monday to do a little checkin up on the babe. We are happy to report that she is all things healthy and wonderful. She took her poking and prodding like a champ.
She came out to be:
13 lbs 12 oz - 26th percentile
25 inches long - 65th percentile
16.5 inch head - 66th percentile

Let's see new things Etta's doing...

Screaming at extremely high pitched tones for fun

Rolling from one end of the room to the other

Sucking her thumb

Getting ticked at whoever is splashing her in the tub

No longer color blind

Eating solids...or should I say not eating

-Videos showcasing these new phenomena coming to a blog near you soon-

Happy 2 months little lark!

It has been so fun to watch my Elizabeth grow up and all though it's only been two months she has changed so much!
She loves to stick out her tongue.
She holds her head up flawlessly.
She loves to hear singing,
no matter how talented (or not) the performer.
She smiles when prompted by us instead of gas.
She loves to laugh at you,
actually it's more of a squeal, when you make faces.
She licks anything that comes close to her mouth
and thinks she's hilarious.
She pants like a puppy when excited.
She makes her "strong man" face when trying to poop.
She always seems to be sucking on,
not just her finger, her whole fist.
She belches louder than anyone I know.
She still gets really bothered when you try to tickle her.
She loves her baby bjorn...hates her sling.
She hates nothing more than her aspirator.
She loves her family, and we love you baby! Keep up the cuteness!

By the way...Dr. Freestone and I are happy to report Elizabeth happy and healthy. Her newest stats are as follows:

Weight: 10 lbs 6 oz - 42 percentile

Height: 22 in - 36 percentile

Head: 15.5 in - 62 percentile

He said she'd be a petite skinny thing with a big baseball cap. Thanks doc...or rather, thanks to dad. Love you babe!
